We will now cover the more chordal and rhythmic tapping style found in the second half on the song “Midnight”. This kind of tapping style creates a very exciting sound that is very inspiring to write with. With this technique you will be able to have the entire rhythm, harmony and melody in your hands, all at once. This video guitar lesson starts with a short demonstration piece I wrote that demonstrates the sound of the technique. It is the same tapping pattern that Joe Satriani uses in “Midnight”.
