We’ll learn to do this in the key of A, and play at the 5th fret How to play guitar solos step 2 — our first 2 notes are on the 3rd string — Cat the fifth fret and D at the 7th fret How to play guitar solos step 3 — our next two notes are on the 4th string — G at the 5th fret and A at the 7th fret How to play guitar solos step 4 — now we practice soloing using just those 4 notes — learning to experiment and mix them up to produce new and different combinations.
